Being relaxed and comfortable for your senior portraits is incredibly
important. If you're not, your photographs are going to look "stiff" or "posed" or "forced" or

comfortable with strangers and most people are not comfortable in front of a camera - yet at other
studios seniors show up and are immediately set in front of a camera and photographed by a stranger.
But not at Hollywood Grads. When you call for your appointment we'll
send you a great packet of information that answers most of your questions, then we'll set up a time
for you and a parent to meet Dawn, our photographer. Not to take photographs - but just to chat with
her, enjoy a refreshment, have all your questions answered, see the studio and get to know Dawn.
That way, when it's time, you'll be photographed by someone you know -
not a stranger. And that makes all the difference!
What Are You All About?
During that first time when you're in the studio, Dawn will show you an
example album and ask what types of things you like and what you don't like - she'll find out what
kinds of outdoor locations you enjoy, what you're interested in, what clothes you like - basically
what you're all about right now.
Because that's what a really great senior portrait does - it captures
what you're all about at this time in your life - it captures the real you. And that's what we're
all about!

Also during that first meeting, Dawn will share some amazing secrets
with you that'll help you look fantastic. Did you know that wearing the "wrong" clothing in a
portrait will add up to 22 pounds? Ouch. The good news is that wearing the "right" clothing in a
portrait can take off up to 22 pounds. So clothing can make a 44 pound difference in how you look.

Dawn's also full of secrets on how to do make-up so that it looks good
in a portrait - what hair styles to wear for portraits - and which one's definitely not to wear. She's
the expert and you'll benefit from her years of knowledge of making seniors, like you, look fantastic.

For most studios, clicking the shutter button is the end of the
photography process. For us, it's just the beginning. We have one of the best artists in the
Pacific Northwest who enhances every photograph we create. AT NO EXTRA CHARGE, we will have our
on-staff, Personal Portrait Enhancement Artist go over every inch of your portraits and give them
another dimension of life. Don't worry, no one will EVER be able to tell that any enhancement was
done, but this one step can take a good photograph and make it perfect.
Finishing Touches
Once your images have been created we have our professional lab create
beautiful original photographs. We take those photographs and custom create a gorgeous, genuine
leather album. Most seniors decide to keep their albums and so they have a safe and convenient way
to keep their photographs. (We also have special album mats that hold wallet photographs of your
friends so you can keep those forever too!)
We know of no one else in the area that is doing this! At other
studios, you might get a loose stack of “proofs” or computer disc with your “photographs”, or
a piece of paper printed off an ink jet printer with your “thumbnails”. That's really too bad.
